West Deptford Launches New Municipal Website
 West Deptford, NJ (November 26, 2005) — Today, West Deptford Township launched its new municipal website (www.westdeptford.com). It provides easy access to government services, forms, news, events and contacts.
"Our previous site was dated, difficult to maintain and hard to navigate," said Gerald White, West Deptford's administrator. "On the other hand, the new site is colorful, informative and very accessible. Every page on the site contains links to important forms, an interactive calendar of community and government events, and contact information for the municipal complex."
The site was designed by Tara Communications, LLC, a strategic public relations, marketing and Internet communication firm located in Washington Township, NJ. The website the firm built for the City of Woodbury recently won the New Jersey State League of Municipalities' Public Affairs Award as the top municipal site in New Jersey.
"Residents looking for things to do will be impressed by the breadth of information we have provided about the township's parks, civic organizations, sports, concerts, daytrips and other activities," said Recreation Director Greg Ley.
"Our approach in designing the site," said Rick Alcantara, principal of Tara Communications, "was to make government information easy to access and to emphasize that West Deptford is an active community conveniently located just outside Philadelphia."
