Tara Communications Wins Web Marketing Award for Legal Website
Turnersville, NJ – Tara Communications LLC, a South Jersey public relations and Internet communications firm, today received the Web Marketing Association's WebAward for its work in designing and developing a new website for Atlantic City law practice Cooper Levenson.
The goal of the WebAwards, according to its sponsor, "is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective websites on the Internet today." The judges rate the sites on design, content, interactivity, ease of use, innovation and technology.
"This is one of the most interactive website we ever built," said Tara Communications founder and principal Rick Alcantara. "It leverages RSS feeds, podcasts, an interactive calendar, searchable news releases and more to make it easy for visitors to obtain news and information.
Tara Communications positioned the site (www.cooperlevenson.com) to educate clients, attract prospects, enhance media relations, facilitate communications, expand the firm's geographic reach, simplify site maintenance, attract search engines, promote community involvement, advertise the firm's 50th anniversary, reduce mailing costs and deliver timely news.
Among the site's more unique qualities is a customizable brochure. After completing a preferences form, visitors receive a PDF in their e-mail containing the firm's backgrounder, office location list, requested practice area write-ups and related attorney bios, and client list.
Another interesting feature allows visitors to search for a lawyer by name, practice area or location. Each resulting bio features the attorney's photo and links to related new releases or "in the news" items.
